Is it really true? Are they real? Two little bundles of joy spinning and twisting inside Faith's tummy! Well, there could be three, but with the song and dance these two put on, it really wasn't worth plunging about in there to see if there were any more. Two will be more than enough for Momma to cope with with her newly aquainted titanium rods in her spine.
The lovely Lady from BreederScan came around, she always liked Faith and says how well behaved she is. Of course she is, she is a Maystar Pride Member! Trudy always pays everyone attention in the house, not just the pregnant ladies. I thought I was in for a bit of Ticker Scanning until she scratched me under the chin and passed me by, lube in hand. Phew, only jelly on Faith's belly today then?
That didn't stop Gracie, she was in on the action from the beginning. Nosey parker these Esperanza kids.
"What does this do?"
"Nothing"
"Why is it on there then?"
"Because it comes with the machine"
"Oh." crunch "You won't mind if it's missing then?"
She even got a dry scan herself, in preparation for her own babies one day.
"That tickles"
"Keep still"
"But it tickles"
Faith was much more lady like about the whole affair. Gel on her tummy, ManSlave taking supporting role in holding her gracefully, belly up. Momma, camera in hand doing the 'non bending' roles. Faith was happy to watch the monitor and witness first paw her new Bubbahs. Even though they are not here yet, we feel as though they are part of our Pride already and everyone treats her with respect. They move from her path as she sashays along. It will soon turn to a swagger and her and Momma can sloth along side each other in the Kitten Room, one growing larger, one growing fitter. (I shall not chose which, I may get Thwakked.)
The creation of life in as amazing thing and all of us here are very excited by the new arrivals. J1 was given the good news last night by ManSlave. Man to man, pat on the back and all that, but J1 was more interested in whether or not she would be out soon to have more 'hows your father'? So the majority are pleased, well, everyone except Lillibet. She is insanely jealous already and has turned into a food monster, more so than me. She can hear Faith's food being opened from downstairs and Momma being somewhat slower than usual is perplexed at the speed at which the supersonic chocolate madam can reach the bowl when she was just thinking about closing the door. Many a time she has this satisfied look as the door closes, just to turn and see not Faith sitting at her dish, but Lillibet. She is happy to be put back out and purrs loudly either way with a few kibble of her own.
There is someone else not so excited either and his owners are considering counselling when the time comes. Jamie, (Maystarex Jacobean Jester) is adamant that he is THE ONLY MAYSTAR BOY and that there are no other boys to be born. Well, sorry Jamie, Momma needs boys as they are important to the lovely new families waiting! I am sure your counselling will go well. We hope Jaz doesn't tease you too much!
I am happy there will be kittens as kittens mean food and food means I now have an ally in Lillibet and Gracie. Distractors! Before it was just me and my stealth. But now, well, it's a game changer!
