Tyga, MAYSTAREX QUEEN-OF-PRUSSIA, had a really lovely day at the National. It was a long day for her. She didn't mind, she enjoyed meeting her fans and showing off her purring skills. Came home with her first rosette and best out of 3 kittens. Promising little toot. DEC 2018
Precious Premier
PR MAYSTAREX DAME D'ANGLAISE, owned and shown by Denise Burgess, has had a cracking show year with many wins as a kitten and two BOV section 4. She was getting rather grumpy with being taken out of her pen but that didn't stop the judges liking her and awarding copious BOBs. She has retired from GCCF. DEC 2018
Tilly does it again!
Tilly Tickle and her owner Denise made an extraordinarily long journey to the CRAOV show. It was worth the drive as she attained a 2nd Challenge Certificate and the Best of Breed too.
She is doing really well and already a TICA champion and working her way to grand. NOV 2018
Small Victory for Vee
Viktori Vee has given us all a wonderful surprise by producing an exciting litter of two. A Tabby girl and a White girl. The entire little family are doing well and Dad, Barry White, is very happy with the news of MiniCats. Every one is very excited having waited SO long for Vee to get pregnant! SEPT 2018
Sophia Wins Another Grand
Sophia attended the Scottish Rex Cat Club show this month and was presented with her second Grand Certificate. This means she only needs one more to become a Grand Premier. Her Parents Molly & Ross Steward enjoy taking her to the SRCC show each year and Sophia is in two minds if she enjoys it! AUGUST 2018
Floki II Show Debut
Floki, from Pearls litter of 5 boys, attended his first show in Eastleigh and enjoyed his day out and was very relaxed and chilled. He came home with lots of red rosettes and plenty of kisses from everyone. - AUG 2018
Trudy from Breeder Scan dropped by to scan Viktori's tummy for little Veelings. It seems we have some wrigglers in there and they are very active just like their mother. I bet they are going to be a real handful. We will look forward to babies at the end of August. - JULY 2018
Grand State of Affairs
Flaire's Grand Champion Certificate has arrived from the GCCF making it official that she is now known as GR CH MAYSTAREX QUEEN OF SCOTTS. - JULY 2018
Winner winner Tilly Dinner!
Tilly just keeps winning and winning. She has had another successful day out showing and will now take a little break to mature before she heads out for the grown up shows in the Autumn. With a 1st Open and Best of Breed again she has done very well and held her cool on these very hot show days. JULY 2018
Tickled Pink
Tilly Tickle and owner Denise Burgess were again in the top six Best in Show cats at the East Sussex Show. Tilly, although a little hot and tired, managed to hold it together just enough to gain not only a RED CARD DAY, but Best of Variety Kitten and then Overall Best of variety Section 4! JUNE 2018
Grandioso
Flaire joined her Daughter, Tilly, for a day out in Maidstone, Kent. She was entered into her Grand Class for the last time and trotted home with a beautiful rosette and most importantly, her GOLD CARDS. She now has three and is a GRAND CHAMPION now! JUNE 2018
Show it all off
Tilly Tickle with her new family have been to their first show together. It was a nerve wracking preparing a white cat for the bench but they did Maystar & Tilly proud. She was sparkling.
There was another Odd-Eyed kitten in the next pen and the judge had a hard choice to make as they were both beautiful. But it was Tilly who achieved her very first red rosette and a super gold Best of Breed rosette too. MAR 2018
Grin and BAER it.
Both white babies, Elly & Tilly were BAER hearing tested last week. Unfortunately, Tilly failed her test and has been rehomed as a pet and will not be staying at Maystar HQ after all. It was very sad, however, she will be going to a fabulous new home.
Elly had perfect hearing and is still planning to be going abroad to Holland to join a breeding programme in March. FEB 2018
Pearlings are born
Pearl gave birth to five healthy boy cats in May. Two Blue & White Harlequins, A Lilac, Black and a Blue & White.
Mother and babies are all doing really well after 20 hours of hand feeding due to blood incompatibility and then a further few hours latching the babies on.
