She has a proper Devon Rex character, cheeky, sweet, naughty, lovable and hilarious. She is a proper little diva and knows how to get us to do her bidding! We wait hand and foot over her, our fault entirely, but how could you say no to such a beautiful squeaky little soul? Her pedigree name Rexiru Black Envy came from the fact that she was the only kitten in her litter and the breeder wanted to keep her in the Rexiru Tribe, but alas, she had our name on her! We feel so grateful to Rexiru for allowing us to have this special baby and Kath Wilson from Nidoran for supporting us. Faith is one in a million and was the beginning of something very special! Her character is so kind, she never gets narky or grumpy, she is always happy to see you and even after a few hours away from my home office, she jumps up and down on all fours and squeaks. She is not a pick up and cuddle type of kitty, more a snuggle down on your lap type. She likes to ride around on your shoulders and follows me everywhere (always squeaking) She is happy to play on her own, but loves a good rough and tumble with her half brother Zeus. She loves Slinky and they can often be found snuggled up together. She is fascinated with the shower plug holes, string and feathers, all of which send her in a frenzy. Her routine is 'string before food'. If she doesn't like something or has a 'tantrum' she stamps her feet and screws her face up letting out and almighty squeak. A real little diva! Faith had a beautiful litter of kittens in 2012. We kept Lillibet here, she loves her Mum and they make happy friends. Our dreams of more litters were quashed when Faith went on to have two further litters from two different boys and all died from a heart condition before 6weeks of age. It was an awful time as we had to neuter all the cats involved. Just awful and so very sad. She lives in a semi grumpy state now, jealous of new kittens in the house. She is still a love bug and my special princess. She is happy in my company and tells the other girls she is still in charge and they must not forget it! IN 2023 Faith began a new immune response treatment called SOLENSIA. Watch this space to see how her Arthritis is being treated each month. |

Very sadly, faith went on to lose two litters - one from J-One (Walter & Cromwell) and one from Sweep (Petroc and Rosie). Both litters were lost due to congestive heart failure so we neutered Faith after trying a trusted and safe stud boy in Sweep. It was a very sad, but correct, decisionn to make.
