PEDIGREE NAMING HISTORY:-
Phillipa of Hainault was Queen of England as the wife of King Edward iii and acted as regent in 1346 when her husband was away for the Hundred Years War. She traveled much of France and Scotland where she won much popularity and helped keep peace in England throughout her reign. Daughter of Count William of Hainaut & Princess Joan of Valois.
Her arrival to Maystar HQ was a little unexpected as she was supposed to be going to a home in Scotland and we were just collecting her from the Breeder to take her half way from Devon to Coventry for her onward journey. During her short visit here Covid-19 Lockdown began. So we purchased her from Jane Rowden at Itzapromise in case her forward journey could be made at a later date, but she never left! Jane very kindly put her on the active register and allowed us to change her name with the GCCF.
Filly is a slightly new blood line for us and she is a welcome edition into the family where Both Viktori & Pearl are her Great Aunts on both sides of her family. She is a quirky and funny girl with oodles of love. She has a really naughty personality and can be so fast racing about here and there chasing toys and sometimes, if allowed, the other cats. She is growing really long, tall and lithe. Her sweet little coat is growing nicely with tight waves and she looks like a typical old fashioned Devon Rex with big pointy ears and wicked eye shape. We will look forward to her growing big and strong and see how she fits into our Pride.
