A lovely female with an excellent coat and color. The eye shape is adequate and she has a lovely profile. I would love to see a bit more chin, but the overall expression is very nice. The body is well muscled and she is overall in excellent condition for the show. |

She has large broad at base ears well set on flat skull. Good width across her cheekbones. Short wedge. Showing good whisker break. Fair stop in profile. She was a little shy at first and with a little tlc she relaxed and her eye line was expressive and was well set with good width between. Slender neck and a good chest. Medium length body, firm and of good weight and bone . High proportionate limbs and tail adding to overall balance. Coat has good texture, covers body and extends down limbs and tail with defined depth to her waves and lies well. Sweet gentle girl |

I CC BOB RANKIN’S MAYSTAREX QUEEN-OF-PRUSSIA (DRX bs 23, 26/08/2018)
I just loved this girl’s expression - so typically Devon! Another youngster, just over 10 months of age; she has large wide-based tufted ears set quite low on her head, flat brow in profile & good stop to her nose, medium depth almost level chin & correct bite. Viewed from the front she is wide across the cheeks, the whisker break is well-defined & she has a broad short muzzle complete with stubbly whiskers. Her eyes are greenish-yellow, large oval in shape, set wide apart on a slight slant & she has a superb “wicked” look. Excellent size & weight for her age – she has a firm muscular body with elegant neck, broad chest, long legs ending in small oval feet & a long tapered tail. Her coat covers the body well, is short & mainly soft in texture (a sprinkling of guard hairs to lower spine & tail) with rexing starting to develop to flanks & tail. I really needed 2 BOB awards – in the end it was this girl’s fabulous expression that tipped the balance! |

Very playful kitten with a typical expression! Nice short broad wedge with large ears with muffs, very good width at the base of the ears and of quite a good set for age. High cheekbones, good muzzle & whisker break. Profile shows brow curving back to flat skull and clearly defined stop to short nose. Level bite. Lovely eye shape, large and oval correctly sloping towards outer edges of ears, lovely pixie expression. Pleasing firm and muscular body, very nice breadth at the chest, carried high on slender legs, rear legs lengthy slightly emphasised, ending in neat oval paws. Tail a good length and tapers. Her coat shows a good density and is softly textured with rexing all over her body and down the legs and tail, just slightly less on the neck but still covered. Short stubbly whiskers and eye brows. Teensy amount of guard hairs on the tail. No points for colour but what a lovely warmth to her overall colouring. |

1 BOB RANKIN’S MAYSAREX QUEEN-OF-PRUSSIA (DRX bs 23, 26/8/18).
Cute Black Silver Mackerel Tabby girl of good type. Her wedge is short and broad, with a flat brow. Her ears are held fairly low, and are well cupped. They are fairly large and quite wide at the base. Her eyes are a pale hazel in colour, and they are of good large size and oval shape, set slightly obliquely. Her nose shows a good break in profile – it could perhaps be a fraction shorter for even better balance. She shows good width across her high cheekbones. Quite good whisker break. Level bite. Good strength & depth to her chin. Quite an elegant neck. The rexing to her coat is developing well. The texture is soft and there is quite good density. Just lacking waves to her tail at present. Mid chocolate toned tabby markings with good silvery ground colour. She has a slim but muscular body that is well grown. She has slender legs, with small oval paws. Her long tail balances her body and tapers well, just with a slight blip at the very tip. Sweet nature. |
