PEDIGREE NAMING HISTORY:-
Mary was six days old when her father James V of Scotland died and she acceded to the throne. She spent her childhood in France while Scotland was ruled byregents. She married the Dauphin of France where Mary was Queen Consort Francis's death in 1560. Widowed, Mary returned to Scotland and four years later, she married her half-cousin, Henry Stuart or Lord Darnley and in 1566 they had a son, James I of England and VI of Scotland.
Flaire is a very determined cat and knows what she want and usually gets it too! She can be mean to judges, stewards and occasionally people visiting and likes to see both cats and humans jump at her loud MEOW and jump towards them. If that scares you off she has won and wags her tail with glee. All the cats in the house are scared of her and she is a right grumble bum - except when she has kittens, then she is as sweet as pie.
The only person she gives the time of day to is Ade, she really loves him to bits. He calls her blue eyes - I call her 'His Girlfriend'. She walks around his head on his shoulders just purring and kissing him and shoots evil looks to anyone looking at them!
She gained Championship status in four shows and then took a few summers off after kittens and came back to showing and gained her grand certificates in 3 shows. At 10 months old she sat out at the Pet Show in Birmingham and let crowds of people stroke her and on holidays to the caravan, she loves nothing more than to go out on her harness and chase bits of grass. She is a wonderfully rounded girl with a big mouth!
Flaire is a wonderful mother cat, very caring and sweet natured with her kittens. Giving them every ounce of herself. She teaches them well and they are always clean and litter trained in no time with no accidents. She is a real super star and we love looking at her beautiful coat and stroking the velvet ripples. She really is quite exceptional.
