Icon came to us from the delightful Skalij family in Northern Poland and the cattery Blue Sun. We have stayed friends with Malgorzata and watched the cattery grow in success and finally after 7 years, we saw Ikon and knew he would be the one for us. Ikon and I traveled 14hrs by plane, train and car to get him back to the UK and he didn't blink and eyelid! At first he didn't know any English and we didn't know more than basic Polish and the word no, in, out and Ikon here have soon become part of his vocab. To everything else he is totally oblivious unless it is food related - then he is there, eating and chewing anything he can find that is edible, including loo rolls and paper from the printer and now leaves and grass.
he is a really hillarious cat with a wicked sense of humour. He is always making us laugh and is always up for cuddles and lots and lots of fuss. he loves everyone and is very intelligent and happy to share and play with the younger members of the family.
He attended many shows as a kitten and into his young adult life attaining SIX BEST OF VARIETIES as well as his championship awards and then on to his Grands. He did one TICA show and came home a champion. He has already sired one litter and from that we kept his best friend and playmate Magnus Rex whom he lives with in The House of Fun.
