Lillibet's toys have arrived! The CatWomen wanted to try them out with a little product testing of their own. Well, the LilliLongLegs brand can't go untested now, can it! So Momma allowed us a green bean each, from the "3 Bean Salad" bag. The Bugs testing will come later. Faith always loves her toys and took the sampling a little bit too far, she was really into to WakkyNip, that has been grown organically on a farm in Kentucky. As soon as she smelled it, her head went down to anoint herself in it's aroma and that was it, she was in play mode. Poor Lillibet had only just given the Bean a quick sniff when her Mother pounced on her, leaving Lillibet a bit bewildered and a little bit mad! They had a proper 3 Bean Staredown and a 3 Bean Standoff. No one really willing to make a move. There was no noise except the thrashing of Lillibets tail from laminate floor to rug. She was building to quite a crescendo with the rhythmic swinging of it until she made a move and bowled Faith over and gave her a bit of a Thwakking. They eventually came to an uneasy standoff of the silent stare down, each with a bean in their sights and offered a truce, albeit an ears back, ready for leaping on each other again kind of truce. An eye for an eye as they say. The game continued well into the evening with them bounding all over the house chasing each other and bouncing off the walls. Racing up and down the cat posts and balancing along the ornament cabinets, which, by the way, are out of bounds! And you may wonder what I was doing all this time? Well, not one to do much racing and Thwakking anymore, I was happy to watch them exercise their wits and bodies whilst I got a little high on my WakkyNip Bean. Why bother with all that running around, I could pull a muscle! KS =^..^= PS. Sorry for the blurred images, they were taken on Momma's phone, not her speedy camera! | |

Sundays are usually taken up by the cooking of the roast, but this week we had a delivery instead. A big box full of wonderful things like bubble wrap and styrofoam! It's a bit squeaky on your teeth and sets me on edge, but Faith enjoys scratching it with her claws and making a terrible mess!
Our new arrival is a new fish tank for our friend Tethys the Black Belt Cichlid. He has been living in a smaller tank due to the fact that all the Parentals had for him and whilst he was happy enough, it was a house decision that Tethys deserves a little more space to do his own thing. He is quite and aggressive fishy, so he is kept on his own, but he does get lots of fuss, especially from Momma who hand feeds him and does a bit of fish tickling! The excitement of the unwrapping was second to none and I made sure to Foreman the whole thing seeing as Mr.Zeus isn't here to do a 'risk assessment'. Well, I chose not to do a risk assessment and went straight in at the deep end and so did the CatWomen. We helped unpack the boxes and we even tried out the tank for ourselves. Faith and I swam about pretending to be cat fish and Lillibet was on hand with the fish pellets! Finally, the tank was ready for Tethys to move in, luckily he had literally 'moved house' and his water came with him from one tank to another. That made life much easier and lots of fun for us because we were trying to trip the Parentals up at every bucket! Tethys is really happy now and he likes nothing more than to serenade Momma from his new tank and he has dug her a hole to join him in his den. ManSlave says that Tethys really loves Momma, a little 'TOO MUCH' and gets quite excited when he hasn't seen her for a few hours. He flick flacks his tail and wags his body from side to side... ManSlave said, the day Momma is found 'in' the tank is the day he will leave home! WATCH TETHYS ON VIDEO SERENADING MOMMA KS =^..^= |
