In February, Momma had some sort of rod things put in her back and now her leg and foot feel really funny, so everyday, she has to give her foot a bath. I don't know how it copes all that washing and soaking? Not something I am a huge fan of at all. I am due a bath and my skin is sore, but until Momma can direct ManSlave in the finer arts of cat washing, we will make do with watching her bathe her foot instead.
The girls seem to get a kick out of the foot bath and even like to drink the hot water and try the spa for themselves. Gracie is first on the scene, being a kitten, it's all new and she has forgotten already her couple of show baths she has undergone with blue rinse shampoo and bubblegum conditioner. This is something new and fun. She really took the lead and would try and push Faith away from the water. Momma usually has a much bigger bowl in the bath, but just for all of you at home, I suggested she have a clear one so you can all see what is going on and what they get up to!
I think if the water wasn't so hot, Gracie might have just got in it herself and relaxed down into it like a hot tub. Gracie is adamant that it's her game and no one else can play. Faith likes to lick the water and push her paws about outside to see where the water level is and Gracie likes to actually have a dabble in it. This is more obvious when Momma puts her foot in. Lillibet really wasn't sure about the whole thing, she is not a water baby at all and stalked the box for a ages, probably because it was new? She then stalked and worried about it so much, she even got Gracie concerned that it perhaps wasn't as safe as first thought?
Momma now puts some salty things in with her foot as this helps open the paws or something? I didn't know humans had paws? All about capillaries and stuff? All gobbildygook to me... I just know that if those CatWomen drink that, their movements will be a little more rapid on the morrow!
