Robyn took to the purple collar borrowed from Faith, with a matching silver heart displaying 'Faith' and a bell that set her off racing about the landing jumping sky high and trying to catch it. She was happy to be loaded into the carry bag and thought Magnus was hillarious trying to digging his way out. She sat all prissy waiting to be off. Then, the second we stepped from the house she began to wail and cry with a voice that was that of a giant lion. She roared so loudly that Magnus began his pitiful squeak to match her yelling and down the road Momma and ManSlave walked in step to the mewling. They got to the park and turned around because Magnus was wailing pathetically and really it was just a tootle to try them out with something new.
When they returned home, there was SaBreena waiting at the door. She welcomed the two babies with a lick and then jumped into the empty manbag. That was it, collar on and out of the door to complete their walk, they took SaBreena with them. Collar on and happily laying at the bottom of the bag which Momma carried on her front so she can see the babies and talk to them. SaBreena was very happy, she meowed with delight at being out and by the time they were at the park they turned towards the woods and she had her zip opened and collar attached to the internal lead for safety. She was so confident and purred away when Momma stroked her head. She was so nosy when they saw pigeons and then crossing the stream there were Bull Rushes ready to sprout and all the blackberries needed sniffing as well as the weeping willow leaves and the wild flowers. She was allowed to sniff lots of new things and coming up the slope it was windy and her ears flattened against the breeze. When they arrived home, she leapt out of the bag and wriggled about whilst the collar was removed. She said a polite thank you then ran off to tell everyone about her adventures.
Because it was so windy when they got home, it had blown the clouds away and the sun had exploded through so ManSlave opened up the communal area for everyone to explore and sniff at the plant pots whilst he watered them. The long green water snake waters away and the kittens race about trying not to get wet. Us adults sit out of the way laugh at their naivety. Because they were gone off into the woods for a short time, I was left in charge of the Welsh Lamb in the oven. I was to make sure it didn't over cook and watch that the timer went off ok and nothing got too crispy. I had a good view looking through the glass with my face pressed to it's warmth. I was patted and had my ears caressed for being on point with the meat and once it was rested, I was allowed a little taste for being so good. Luckily, lamb doesn't upset my skin!
It sure was a nice day with fun things to do. We now have a few springs to dance about the lounge with and after that a bit of a snooze in front of the TV with a nice movie. I hear Stuart Little is on today, that's a fun Movie for cats, especially as fluffy Snowbell has such a staring role coughing up fur balls .
I was meant to be having a cream tea with my Pal tomorrow, but she has had to cancel which is a real shame - all the more cake for us I guess?
Love to each of you - Your Queen Vee. =^..^=
