Cats can be as the Parentals say 'clumbsy' and boy do they have a giggle at our expense when one of us incorrectly judges the top of a very slippery fish tank lid, or the pounce has gone out of your feet and you fall unceremoniously from your perch. I am quite a heavy cat and not very agile. I can run fast and turn corners, but I am very long and my body doesn't bend and flex like a cats should and my bottom is fatter than the other felines in the house, therefor making my jump, lets say, less flexible. I can't quite get my back paws around my front paws and under my chin. But someone like Lillibet is very flexible. She is like a gymnast, performing her tricks and flips and spins in the air. I don't know how she does it.
We think Flaire might be flexible. She has a lovely long elegant back and long luxurious leggies. They are bound to get strong and carry her to great heights. Well, we hope so, because crashing into sides of kitten pens is not going to increase her chances of being top cat. Heaven help us - more top cats!
