After they all arrived, Gracie was still trying to push out the biggest baby you ever did see. He was so big that Gracie had to visit Simon at the Vets and have him removed surgically. Even though she had that done, she never got the FURMOMETER??? I don't get that? I went in for a Neoplasm what not and I had a FURMOMETER!!!
Well, it wasn't long and all the babies and Gracie were back together again. It was decided that Gracie wasn't to have any real chemicals to make her sleepy, so Simon used Gas and just slightly put her under and did a quick C-Section. The thing that took the time was trying to revive 'Rocky', as he has been named, before he goes into the special place in the garden.
All these babies want to do is drink and sleep. All Gracie wants to do is sleep and more sleep. She is quite poorly with no pain medication, but seeing as the babies are so lively, Simon states if Momma can give her lots of TLC, she will make it without and not risk harming the babies. It was a really good job she went in, the baby was wallowing around the saggy uterus and he had been pressing on Gracie's lungs and when all the others left the warmth of inside, she began to cough. Yikes, that's pneumonia. I know there is a special term for it, but I am just a cat! Moma also noticed she was getting a bruise on her boobs, this is the beginnings of Mastitis...Pffft. Just what she needs a double dose of fury!
Hopefully, she won't get that pink stuff in a jar that tastes like strawberries. I mean, since when do cats eat strawberries? It makes you foam at the mouth and drool and everything. Lets hope it's not that!
Well. Enjoy our new family. There may be a little one staying here so follow that story closely to see who stands out from the crowd!
Now, how to get my licker on some of that kitten milky!
