When she is not laying about trying to get comfy she is scrabbling about in the kitten hut, digging up all the bedding and making a right pile. Then Momma sorts it all again for the next go. All night long she dug up this and that and then lays woefully staring into midair with her eyes half closed. Her breathing is a little more laboured than usual but not distressed, just tired already and it hasn't even really begun yet. Momma keeps a close eye on her now for any sings of it all really kicking off and podding to commence. No doubt it will be in the middle of the night. No good for me, I will be tucked up in the House of Fun with Mum Grace and Purple Eddie. We have a new cat post, it's all very plush, so our sleep is much deeper. Nope, i wouldn't be any good at all. So it's down to Momma to be on high alert.
The Flairelings will be making their way down to the nearest exit, I wonder if they have direction lights like an aircraft? Some don't want to leave and turn around trying to head back in, these are the breach babies. In Maystars experience, only one baby was born head first and that was Jamie (Maystarex Jacobean Jester) He wanted out and couldn't wait to meet his new Momma, where as Jazmin (Maystarex Tudor Tapestry) was happy to head back in - in fact Momma remembers her doing the 'hokey-pokey' as she decided which foot would come out first and then a tail arrived and both feet and bam... But why do we all want to stay in there when there is so much fun to be had out here? But I guess we don't know that when we are inside. Mmm food for thought. When I have babies one day, I am going to tell them it's all ok and head first is easier for Momma to deal with!
So the waiting goes on and on and nothing changes hour after hour and we all play on and go about our business whilst the full Flaire struggles with her discomfort and won't let anyone touch her, she is far too sensitive for anything like that and won't let ManSlave listen to the babies or feel them move, nope, this is all going to be top secret. So we watch from a distance her ripples moving and flicking as the babies decide whether or not they will be feet first for this world of dive in head first? Whatever they do and whenever they appear they are sure to be just perfect in every way. There are lots of folks waiting for their new baby too, so she had better get a move on!
Lots of love from Vee =^..^=
