At first I wasn't allowed in to visit them, they were not protected and seeing as my long unprotection period meant I had to wait to meet my family, it was only fair that I should wait to meet them too. It was very daunting at first. Momma put up the glass door so we could do meets & greets. This went on for a few weeks and I got to see my Sister too. Not that any of us really wanted to see each other and I mainly spat and hissed at everyone and my Mum, Gracie growled and growled staring them down through the glass. Then Lillibet came up and growled and growled at everyone through the glass and walloped me a few times on my head for good measure. Faith couldn't care less.
Then came the day when they were allowed out. Momma fed us all together so we would feel confident. It worked. I was a plus one at their dinner table and we dined on Turkey & Rabbit tureen. Very nice indeed. May favourite as it happens. It was so good Momma had to open a further packet... I stuffed my self silly and cleaned up quick smart! Those Flairelings are no match for my wild and feral licker. Afterwards there was an amount of spitting as we bumped int each other, but that soon turned to a bit of smacking and then play fighting.
We are now great friends and we have full days to sleep, play and eat together. I get a little frustrated when they want to sleep and their batteries have run down. I don't know what to do with myself. I squeak and squawk and sound like a peacock. I run here and there trying to get anyone to notice me and play with me. Momma tries to calm me down. I purr and purr and rub myself all over her and bring toys for her to play with me... it works... I keep playing. I don't ever tire. Nope. My batteries must be those lithium types ManSlave talks about? Apparently, they are prone to combustion - a bit like me!
