Oh what fun the CatWomen have had. Playing hide and seek and even Lillibet joining in the gaiety. Ok, so it's a little bit of run and chase, then turn around and Thwak your opponent and then strop on the carpet to show off her position in the house! What position Lillibet? At the moment, that is still held by your Mother. Gracie came into call on Friday and Faith took it upon herself to beat Gracie up whilst she lay prostrate on the floor begging for a boyfriend. Faith pounced on her back and proceeded to rip into her neck. Gracie thought it was wonderful and began paddling with her back feet. Faith sat back a little perplexed at the fact Gracie hadn't run off and hidden in the cat tree. For the entire weekend this has gone on and to further complicate things, Gracie now HATES her Daughter, Flaire, with a passion. Oh dear. It's never dull here. Flaire, for her own safety, has been sleeping in with the Parentals at night time and Gracie has been subjected to the kitchen, or rather - we have been subjected to Gracie's yodeling at 2am, 3am and 6am. It's all too much, but I suppose it has been the first time in months Gracie hasn't been scared of Faith and so it may bring them together temporarily. It is making Faith broody, all this yelling. She has tried many times to befriend Flaire and steal her away, but Flaire has an elephants memory and reminds her with a slap around her face that for the past 3 months she has been vile. Faith tries to explain that she lost everything and can't have babies anymore, but Flaire isn't having any of it. "Talk to the paw" She tells Faith and skips off.
Flaire is benefiting greatly from this new arrangement and is really coming around to human ways of thinking. There is less yelling and squawking when she is picked up and now Momma found a food that EVERYONE eats there is less fussy feeding too. If you don't want it - don''t eat it. There is always the next meal. How can they even think of missing a meal? How do they get their energy to sleep and dream if their tummies are empty? Mad CatWomen. I would eat any of their food in a flash. But now, every meal is perfect, everyone eats the same and first thing in the morning, providing they have all eaten their kibble, Momma dishes out a packet of wet food between them. I love this part, I wait and wait for it. Then, my moment to shine. I dance around on my hind leggies singing the "Gotta lick da spoon" song. And every time I dance about and balance 'just so', I am rewarded with licking the spoon. It is worth all the fuss and bother of acting the fool just to make Momma smile and say "Well done Slinks, good lad."
