When Gracie had her babies, Faith was was upset with the whole ordeal because she wasn't getting Momma's undivided attention. She would Thwak Gracie at every opportunity. But now she has her own kids to deal with she has mellowed somewhat overnight and allowed Gracie to wash her all over.
The birth went well, I don't do sticky stuff so Lillibet and I stayed huddled in the kitchen, only to be rudely awakened by ManSlave at silly O'clock making tea. He was chatting away saying we had a new baby boy arrive and he was black like Jamie and loud like Jamie. and soon there was another on the way. I didn't care much at this point, I was sleeping after all. And to top it off, I was on top of the fridge in the comfy bed which happens to be closest to the full beam of the hallogens in the lighting loom...BAM! AWAKE! YAWP! Lillibet had a better idea, needing her beauty sleep, she stayed in her tower bed, head dug in deep from the brightness. So, as long as I am awake... any Noms going??
Back upstairs and a second baby arrived, the sweetest chocolate drop. So much like Lillibet. But Faith was already tired out and she was hardly pushing. Momma had a fight on her hands to get the baby from the sack again as she was so tight up inside Faith with her tummy cord. Trying not to tare her delicate tummy or even pull anything out of Faith... Glad I wasn't there, I would have passed out! ManSlave was just in time with his tea, it was a welcome relief as Momma swapped a wet kitten for a cuppa. Faith does't 'do' sticky either and washing a wet baby and laying in damp things is not her style. That's what wet nurses are for. Cleaning you up, feeding your kits and handing them back for the photoshoot, all warm and dry. It was quite a different story from Gracie's litter, where Gracie ate everything and nearly swallowed small wee Kevin whole!
Princess Faith and babies are doing well, even if the Parentals are having to stay awake and latch and clean kittens 24/7. Their suck is just not sucky enough as Faith is acting like a spoiled brat and a spinning dolphin at the same time. How is a tiddler meant to hang onto that and survive? I would like to show them the ropes, but sadly I am banned from the kitten room - apparently I steal food?! Pffft. No trust!
