Momma took a hard stance and decided to campaign Otta and Tyga over the drab winter months as usually Maystar has kittens. So it was really special taking them both out on the show bench to succeed in Tyga, at her last kitten show making BEST OF VARIETY KITTEN SECTION 4. It was a wonderful surprise that my very own Daughter, MAYSTAREX QUEEN-OF-PRUSSIA, really excelled herself and has trotted home with six FIRST placings over some very stiff competition from other girl kittens in her class and once even beating her half sister from Whimzeerex. I am so proud of her and her extreme confidence at being handled by anyone and quite often squirreled into someones coat in a fake "she is mine, we are stealing her" scenario.
Otta excelled himself in the GRAND classes and obtained two BEST OF BREED certificates over 5 cats at one show. A huge final to a great time out. He did struggle a bit at the Champion level as there were always boys in his classes and often he was a little immature in his looks. Then he flourished and took off getting his GRANDS in 3 straight shows. He is such a kind and loving boy. So sweet natured and kind hearted.
We think the GRAND placings have gone to his head. He may have sired a litter or two - so watch this space. GOOD BOY OTTA and a huge well done - at nearly two years old, it was nearly curtains for his short career as a stud cat. He does have a show home lined up once he is about 3 years old. He does enjoy showing and enjoys laying about showing off his beautiful coat.
They were both in the HoF for a few weeks and I couldn't really see them, but knew Freja (Peishie) was family but the other little thing was not. But she soon grew on all of us, especially Tyga who pops in to play with her. I like her very much and have thwakked her into place. She is bold, brave and very cute and can not help being a bit tortie too. With her bright blue eyes she charms everyone.
Momma will fly to Poland to collect him whilst ManSlave does a mad dash to Belgium to collect them both whilst Momma flies to Amsterdam and then Brussels. It is going to be quite the adventure. WATCH THIS SPACE for updates and collection before the Brexit cut off.
With Brexit in our minds, Momma has made sure we are eating and using English produce just in case Zooplus, our trusty shop, decides to hike up the prices from Germany.
Well, I really must go and check out what's cooking for Sunday Lunch and send you all my love and whiskery kisses from your special and unique - Queen Vee =^..^=
