I knew both Parentals were not going away, so maybe just one? How do I know this? The final vacuuming was never done and the bin is still in the kitchen, that is usually outside if they are both going? So what is all this fuss about? Then I see that it is Momma who is going away, there are just Momma's things in the bag. Mmm.
Well, they both leave us. Goodness knows how long for? We have no food down. This is serious stuff. We could starve if we go over the five hours between mealtimes. I shall have CatLine on redial i think, just in case! But by 5pm, ManSlave is back on his own and he looks worried? He can't do anything? He is apathetic. He is ringing all the family? What is going on?
We overhear him talking about 'going down to surgery?' Oh my, Momma has gone to the vets! Blimey, when we go to the vets we never not come home for supper. The only time was when Lillibet was really ill, she missed supper. Oh, dear Bastet Queen of Cats, pray she will be OK and help out poor ManSlave, he looks all funny colours and he hates going to the vet. He has 'White Coat Syndrome' like Faith. It makes his sweat and fretty. Gosh, it's 10.15pm and no word about Momma, we all get worried now. It's past our Noms time, who is going to do it? ManSlave seems very occupied. I hope he doesn't forget us! Then there it is, the look of relief on his face that Momma is safe and something about her staying in for a few weeks and she has titanium and screws in her spine, she will be bionic. How are we going to manage? I am beginning to fret already, Faith is worried too. Lillibet & Gracie are not too bothered really. But they are young and don't understand the implications of Momma being contained!
