HAPPY HOLIDAY MAKERS

It has been a year since Mr. Zeus came home for his holidays. He likes it at Maystar HQ and this year he had even more luxury as the House of Fun had been turned into a perfect play house for us felines.

The outside section is much bigger and has lots of climbing posts and toys to play with as well as heated bed and of course IT cameras to keep an eye on pesky cats.

He will be staying for 10 days whilst his family take a holiday at the beach. No place for a pusser who shreds carpets and is generally a naughty boy! We just nodded at each other through the CatPod wire. I think our days of chasing each other and pummeling him in corners are over. It was such a shame we broke friends, but I am top cat and he always challenged that.

Mr. Zeus also carries the virus FoCV it is a corona virus  a bit like the common cold. Although he is never sick, she sheds the virus to healthy cats and makes them sick. So Momma is the only one to visit him in his house to reduce the risk of infecting the main house. It is easily killed and after last year with the Maystar Charity Litter and their FeCV (an enteric type) looking after such cats is easy. Mr. Zeus loves to be the center of attention anyway so it doesn't bother him being an only cat again and he doesn't hanker after company at all whilst he is here. Not like Jimmy, he wanted company so badly. 

So for the next 10 days Mr. Zues gets to watch Horrible Horrace and his family as well as the birdies and his best friends, pigeons.  Accidentally a bird flew into his CatPod, a baby Bullfinch. She took quite a beating and lost all her tail feathers. Momma rescued her after a night in Mr.Z's house, she was cowering behind the electrical stuff, luckily ManSlave had left the cover off and she managed to creep in there, out of reach. After some TLC she flew away a few hours later, minus her tail. We shall have to look out for her - I lick my lips in anticipation.
