I am pushed into a carrier with Gracie, she makes a nice travel companion, sleeps most of the way and you can snuggle into her silky fur. She is never mean to me but beats up her Daughter. Faith and Lillibet travel together in another carrier. They are big carriers, we can walk about in them and could easily fit more in, but Momma likes us to have room to stretch out. I begin to YAWP 10 minutes into the journey because I see Flaire on Momma's lap in a fancy carrier - apparently, she is in training for a long journey in a months time. But boy is she making some noise! Momma turns up the radio to drown me out - how ROOOD!
We arrive at our first destination and all is well, we are off loaded onto the caravan and we can all look around together. It's OK, not much space for all of us, but there is Orb in the windows and places to look out of and there is an en-suite for our loo and a place for our carriers and somewhere to lay down next to the Parentals or on your own. I think it will be OK!
We travel a further 4 hours through Wales and on to the edge of the world and there we are staying for 3 nights. We have baby lambs to watch now and crows, blackbirds and funny little jackdaws. They are kinda cute bouncing about. At the back window there is a gorse hedge which is brimming with tiny birdies. Oh yes. Lots to do indeed.
Then, just as we settle after a long cold night, where we all got into the narrow beds with the Parentals for warmth, we are shoved back in our carriers and back in the car?? WHAT? We only just woke up! YAWP! But it's OK, I smell where we are and before anyone can stop me I am out of my carrier and off, running in the hallway of the family home in wales where ManSlaves Family live. Oh yes, I have been here quite alot. Faith and Lillibet recognize the place too. racing about under chairs and such like. Such fun. Poor Gracie didn't really enjoy it much, but her baby, who at first was scared became very bold and started looking about all over and racing in and out like the rest of us. So happy for her to be doing the fun things. Gracie got the hang of it a bit, but she is quite shy and not as forward as all of us.
Back to the caravan to sleep. Her name is Amara, she is nice to stay in, we all enjoy the evening time, we get a big bowl each of wet food to go to sleep on , then some of us are zipped into our carriers for a few hours so that the Parentals can get a few hours undisturbed sleep without all of us exploring, but by 2am, we are all awake and hoon about after Momma lets us out and we use the bathroom and snuggle into bed with her. I lay on her middle, Lillibet on her chest, Faith under her left armpit, Gracie at her feet and Flaire on top of all of us. Boy I don't know how Momma takes all our combined weight with her poorly back? We weigh nearly 17K altogether, no wonder she moans and groans in the morning. We don't sleep on ManSlave, he sleeps on his side and we can't balance on his hips properly. I think he does it on purpose. Ah well, so long as we are comfortable.
Time to get up soon and go back to see ManSlaves family, we can sleep in the sun and watch Auntie J do her work outside. What a fun day it will be. I am waiting at my carrier and know when it's time to go - our collars go on and our food bag is packed. Quite the travelers us 5!
