Flaire is on a grain free diet which costs a small fortune because she can only really eat turkey and absolutely NO RICE or CHICKEN. But it is too costly to feed everyone and the other kibble we are on is grain free and turkey, but I wasn't gaining weight, so the salmon was worth a test trial. Even Mr. Zeus got a bit porky over at Mrs R's place. She stated that he was looking a tad porky! I am meant to be on kitten kibble, but in short, I don't like it! I do like the new one and because I run around like a wild animal, I don't put on much weight, only about 50 a week at the moment. Less than the Flairelings! My Mum Gracie is looking rather, um, well porky too! I must whisper that because she thinks she looks fabulous. He coat is sticking out a bit, so I beg to differ! Speaking of coat... All mine fell out when I went for my vaccinations. It wasn't the vaccine, but maybe the shock of the FURMOMETER? Again, more expense. A full course for me and a booster for Mum. We are enjoying the spending of hard earned cash. The Parentals don't need a holiday anyway!
So, just to top it all off, Momma has to worm us all. YUCKY! It's that time of year, so we made the beautiful dark blue wool carpets look like a flock of seagulls had been let loose on the hall stairs and landing! In Flaire's room, her chocolate gold was a little 'milky', so Momma did her too. HUGE MISTAKE! Flaire did her chocolate gold and must have sat back in it, covering her tail, she covered her mess neatly, then proceeded to run about the kitten room splashing chocolate gold on everything! Oh my, Momma was not happy at all. This emptying and painting process went on for a few days and this morning she was at Vet SImon's again to try and slow the tummy tantrum. More stuff, antibiotics and special probiotics but the fructose kind not the milky kind as that makes her worse. Apparently, her good bacteria has been swamped by bad bacteria and allowed infection to creep in possibly from the weaning stage of washing babies. Who knows, all we know is we have one pride member unable to go through the cat flap and one that could slip through the post box.
If it's not one thing it's another. Luckily, I am very healthy, despite my lack of clothing. Although, I do look super funny with just fluffy boots on. That will soon rectify, Spring is here, by time clock said 'drop it baby'as the days are getting longer. So I did. I shed my fur to grow new stuff. However, Momma is a bit annoyed as she has entered me into a show and my lack of clothing could render me 'with held'. Oh well, it's a day out and an experience I need under my belt, or lack of one!
Lots of love from Viktori Vee <3
