As Turkey dinners go, Tilly Tickle had quite a big one. Last weekend she blasted her way past all the adults and neuters in Section 4 at the show and came out on top. She wasn't quiet about it either, telling the crowd that she was a the group winner over some very special other pussy cats. He blue and green eye flashed and surprised everyone who watched her and her sparking lambs wool jacket shone like a beacon. She had been meticulously scrubbed by Mrs B and turned out like a shiny new pin. She had big massive rosettes bigger than her even. Huge pretty things with triple ribbons of all colours. Lots of champagne too and chocolates for Mrs B.

Her Mother, Flaire, was a few pens over. She managed to whop the socks off her too! Ironically, two weekends prior to that one, Tilly did exactly the same, taking overall BIS section 4 and reserve Best in Show. Flaire won group 4 Adult section. She was very chuffed with herself and didn't eat too many judges. After this weekend, she is subject to GCCF approval, a GRAND CHAMPION now and the very first at Maystar to reach such dizzying heights. Momma has decided to retire her before she eats a whole judge. To get her through these last few shows she had a double pen and lots of herbal remedies because the travelling was so very long and staying away from home. Which actually, she enjoyed very much and was the model of cuteness then she returned home and thwakked everyone.
With all these winnings it has become a bit packed out in the kitten room with 6 new rosettes for Flaire. Her very special one, the Best of Variety hangs the highest out of reach of tiny claws. They look pretty blowing in the aircon. We have only had red rosettes her and the odd yellow one from Pearl. So it is lovely to have purple and pink ones, even if they are not Momma's favourite colours, they are pretty. Especially the mint green one!
I have only ever won Red ones. I once got a Best of Breed white one which was pretty. I have three gold cards to my name but Flaire is now poncing bout waving her full SIX in my face, saying 'WINNER WINNER GOLD TICKET WINNER'. SHe will never stop. In fact, only yesterday, we sat side by side and I noticed her head has grown as wide as mine. We all know what that is down to!
Well, this glorious weather has me all stretched out in front of the AC unit. I am surrounded by 5 kittens and a very hot to trot Pearl who is yelling for boys. I have tried to put her off them and tell her my awful knowledge of them, but she waves her paw over her five boys and shrugs. 'It's no biggie' she says. All she wants is more and more. You can see the pound signs ringing in ManSlaves eyes as he counts up how many she could pop out each year. Momma reminds him THIS won't be happening at Maystar and she will have to wait like the tart she is until next Summer, until then, there is the CAT-PILL!
Mmmm, maybe I could get me a CAT-PILL then I could pretend not to call and on I will go with never any babies. It is time to move. I thwaks me a few sculls on moving and put those MiniBoyCats in their place just for the heck of it and down the stairs I race to find Lillibet and Thwak her too. Heck, why not. It's Summer!
